This is a great movie that a lot of people I talk to haven't seen. It's the life story of one of Americas most prolific song writers. This man can write songs that make your heart break just as much as his did every time you hear a song. There not all sad songs some are funny some are really weird. This documentary looks at the demons, down falls and triumphs of Daniel Johnston and his struggles with schizophrenia. Amazing amounts of film footage from his youth. Rent this film and become an instant fan for life. If you stop in today you can rent it for just $2 bucks.

It's the Oscars for TV

So early this morning (probably around the same time the unicorns were roasting out coffee) they announced the nominations for the 64th Emmy Awards. "Mad Men" leads the pack with most nominations. See if Joan and the gang will walk away with a statue come September.

Saturday Night Fever

So when I first moved to San Francisco, my roommate from college sent me a series of postcards. They were all penned from a bunny mug, that's right a bunny mug. She took travels to the country and the moon, and even ran a business seminar to discuss investment options. Along the way she met a certain JT and they bumped like bunnies. you may know him from this classic.

it's Saturday Night... do you have the fever?
you can view the full postcard escapade here.

In 1990 there was this movie...

Maybe you saw it? Maybe you didn't? Possibly Colin Ferrel will out-do The Arnold? maybe? maybe not? It seems however that every new movie that comes out later this year will possibly be the remake of a movie from the 80's or 90's.

is that jar jar??
totally recally

Well I'm a sucker for teen comedies and I really love when the movie makers take a franchise to far. how many bring it on movie sequels can they make. Don't get me wrong I'll watch each and every one multiple times . So when I got home from vacation and saw a poster for the forth step up movie you know my heart started to race a little and I can't wait to drag a friend to the theater to see it. (Man i'm such a huge dork).
