2004: Yeah, I watched some movies...

So in 2004, I decided it would be a good idea to watch 'a movie a day'.. it was a Leap Year, so I figured that would make things even more challenging.
I think the idea came out of people/customers telling me on a regular basis , "Ahh... you never watch movies...". Maybe they were right. For owning a video store, maybe I hadn't seen 'enough' movies...
Customer:"Hey, did you like Schindler's List?"
Me: "Uh, duh-no.. didn't see it."
Customer: "You know what its about, right?"
Me: "Yeah, Jews... bad things... "
So 2004... a movie a day (average, that is 366 by December 31st)
Rules:
I had to see 10% of the films at the theatre.
10% of the films , could be ones I had seen before.
For the 'viewing to count', I had to at least watch 3/4 of the the movie.
I kept a 'diary' for that year, with date and movie title. I never got around to writing reviews for all of them nor doing anything with the list until now.
Below is an alphabetical list of all 366 movies I watched during 2004.
Next post I will tell you my top and bottom 20, with a short review.

(sorry about the long list, I couldn't find a better way to format it to make it look slick... I watch(ed) movies, I don't blog). - Matthew

  3. Keep telling that history:

Read the novel, Rescue at Pine Ridge, "RaPR", where Buffalo Bill Cody meets a Buffalo Soldier. A great story of black military history...the first generation of Buffalo Soldiers.

How do you keep a people down? ‘Never' let them 'know' their history.

The 7th Cavalry got their butts in a sling again after the Little Big Horn Massacre, fourteen years later, the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. If it wasn't for the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, there would of been a second massacre of the 7th Cavalry.

Read the novel, “Rescue at Pine Ridge”, 5 stars Amazon, Barnes & Noble and the youtube trailer commercial...and visit the website http://www.rescueatpineridge.com

I hope you’ll enjoy the novel. I wrote it from my mini-series movie of the same title, “RaPR” to keep my story alive. Hollywood has had a lot of strikes and doesn't like telling our stories...its been “his-story” of history all along…until now. The movie so far has attached, Bill Duke directing, Hill Harper, Glynn Turman and a host of other major actors in which we are in talks with…see imdb.com at; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0925633/

When you get a chance, also please visit our Alpha Wolf Production website at; http://www.alphawolfprods.com and see our other productions, like Stagecoach Mary, the first Black Woman to deliver mail for Wells Fargo in Montana, in the 1890's, “spread the word”.

    Peace.
